Christmas in October? Absolutely!

Christmas Shopping in October

I know.  I get it.  Halloween is not even here yet; in fact it’s still seven days away, and while I still believe Christmas decorations in stores anytime before December is totally unacceptable, at times Christmas shopping can be totally acceptable.  Like online shopping!  I mean seriously, you don’t have to leave the house.  You can shop in your pajamas while drinking your favorite cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate – and best of all, no one cares what your hair or makeup looks like!  (You wouldn’t believe the bed head I’ve got going on right now!)

Another reason one might pop on to the internet with bed head, other than shopping of course, is when they find out they are one of several local artisans featured on a widely popular and informative blog, ‘Up North Parent‘.   They have helped lay the groundwork for some incredibly unique, crafty, homemade presents by highlighting artists that are also local in that they live within 60 miles.  So yet another great reason for shopping online, you can shop locally while never leaving your couch!  (My favorite kind of shopping!)
Pop on over to their post, ‘Shop Local and Handmade this Holiday Season‘ and read about some talented people, right in our own backyard.

Then head to Etsy and check them out!  While you’re there, stop by Kreatively Captured and keep checking back.  Every couple days I am adding new items – this week will be some hand sewn table runners and baby bibs, which my crazy talented mom sewed!

Thank you to Up North Parent for adding me to their feature post!  They are a great resource in our community and there are some crazy talented ladies behind that great site!

Until next time, capture life kreatively!!

At 50 years old I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I am currently NED (no evidence of disease), and trying to spend every day reviewing the world through the new lens I wear as a breast cancer survivor.
